Our R&D team consists of engineers and researchers with backgrounds in the fields of positioning, surveying, GNSS, electronics, embedded software, CAD and airborne remote sensing. Our goal is to provide low-cost, reliable and accurate attitude and positioning devices to customers around the world. Using the latest MEMS inertial measurement units (IMU), Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receivers and MEMS barometers, along with innovative sensor fusion methods our "nax" range of hardware can provide accurate body attitude (pitch, roll, yaw) and positioning for a wide range of applications.

Research is key

GNSS recievers and MEMS IMU's continue to improve. Microcontrollers that provide the processing power to run intensive advanced fusion algorithms also improve. Sensor fusion and calibration methods need to evolve in response. In addition, there is the possibility of utilising new sensor types such as LiDAR and Radar. On-going research is required to discover the new.

Operations

Hardware and software design and development is primarily done at our facilities in Sydney, Australia. CAD design and manufacturing is done in our China center. Testing is carried out both in Australia and China.
